Seeded mode uses the standard bracket order: the top seed meets the lowest seed, the second seed sits in the opposite half, and the two best entrants can only meet in the final. If your entrant count is not a power of two, the bracket rounds up and the strongest seeds get first-round byes — with 6 teams you get an 8-team bracket and seeds 1 and 2 skip round one.
Choose in listed order instead when your draw is random or already decided, and the tool pairs entrants exactly as you typed them.
A single-elimination bracket is fast, but half your field goes home after one match. For a social session or a club night that is usually the wrong trade. Consider a round robin so everyone plays all day, a double-elimination bracket so one bad match doesn't end someone's day, or read brackets vs round robin for the full comparison.
